Macklemore

Macklemore's new album GEMINI has finally arrived. The Seattle rapper's record features 16 new songs including his previously released singles "Glorious" (featuring Skylar Grey) and "Marmalade" (featuring Lil Yachty). The new album also showcases other collaborations with artists like KeshaMigosOffsetDan CaplenDonna MissalEric Nally, and several more.

Macklemore tells iHeartRadio of GEMINI"This album is really special to me because I just love it. That's what you wanna do. You wanna make music that you love, that you get in the car and you wanna bump. I made that album, it's called GEMINI."

To celebrate Macklemore's new album, we passed the mic over to the rapper to curate his own Guest DJ station on iHeartRadio, and he even shared some of his favorite songs for fans to listen to.

On Macklemore's Guest DJ station on iHeartRadio, fans can not only hear songs from GEMINI and his previous album, they can also listen to artists like 21 Savage, Bon Iver, John Coltrane, NAS, Ghostface Killah and Young Thug, among others.

Macklemore also opened up about a few of the songs on GEMINI, including "Willy Wonka" featuring Migos' Offset, as well as his Kesha collaboration "Good Old Days."

On his Offset collaboration "Willy Wonka":

"A lot of people talk about when they were kids playing with Play-Doh, wanting to be a police officer or a firefighter or a baseball player, doctor, lawyer. Me? I wanted to be Willy Wonka, and so did Offset. So, we made this record called 'Willy Wonka,' because who knew, years later, I would be Willy Wonka. I didn't know. Offset didn't know. But we embody the spirit of Gene Wilder, of a velvet purple suit, of a candy-coated village, of an everlasting Gobstopper, all in one rap song."

On what it was like working with Kesha on "Good Old Days":

"Kesha is one of my favorite people. She's amazing. We had a great time in studio. She's one of those artists that just comes in and is super comfortable, vulnerable, cool with who she is as an artist, as a person, and immediately felt like kindred spirits. It was awesome."

Macklemore tells iHeartRadio of his new song, "I'm proud of this song because it's pretty, it sounds good, and I think it's important for the world right now."
