Hear BTS' Jungkook's Blush-Worthy Cover Of '10,000 Hours'

We seriously can’t stop gushing over Jungkook’s “10,000 Hours” cover.

The 22-year-old K-pop star, who’s one-seventh of the South Korean boy band BTS, released a dreamy, romantic rendition of Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber’s smash hit song on Soundcloud on Tuesday (July 28), and we’ve been obsessed ever since.

With this interpretation, Jungkook meshes his silky-smooth vocals with the song’s intimate mid-tempo rhythm, putting a beautiful spin on an already enchanting tune.

“I'd spend ten thousand hours and ten thousand more/ Oh, if that's what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours/ And I might never get there, but I'm gonna try/ If it's ten thousand hours or the rest of my life,” Jungkook soars on the track’s chorus, adorning his cover with bright high notes.

The solo effort comes days after BTS announced their new single, arriving on August 21, will be an English-language effort.

“We are preparing an album for the second half of this year, but decided to first release a single because we wanted to reach our fans as soon as possible," the group revealed during a recent broadcast, as per Billboard.

“The song is upbeat and sung in English, just like 'MIC Drop' and 'Waste It on Me,’” they added. “We thought that the song sounded perfect as it is in English. We recorded the guide version and felt that the result was something totally new and fresh."

This music news comes weeks after BTS released their newest Japanese-language album, Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey.
