With Cinco De Mayo coming up tomorrow, I thought I would share this life hack I found about preserving guacamole. I get it, people either love or hate guac. If you love it, the problem is that it's sooooo good, but goes so bad so quickly. A Tik Tok video that has been viewed 10 millon times explains how to keep good guac good for up to seven days!!! What?! Yes. Apparently, the key to success is overfilling your plastic storage container with guacamole. Make sure the guacamole and the plastic container touch and NO AIR gets in the container. Air is the devil. Check your container everyday and make sure there is no air getting in.
If you want to keep avocados good longer, make sure you keep the pit and store your avocado with the pit, it keeps the avocado from browning too quickly.
