Monday Motivation Minute: Mental Health Spring Cleaning

You may have done some Spring Cleaning purging of your closet, your garage, etc...., but have you done any Mental Health Spring Cleaning? This month, Parents magazine published an article about the importance of mental Spring Cleaning on Parents. I think mental health Spring Cleaning is actually good for anyone, parent or not, for optimal functioning as a human being. According to Parents, here are some things you should do to Spring Clean For Optimal Mental Health:

  1. Toss out people in your life that drain you
  2. Shut down conversations that aren't constructive
  3. Remove negativity in your life to make way for inspiration
  4. Stop feeling guilty and focus on the great things you are doing as a parent (or person)
