A Houston woman with the distinction of being the woman with the longest nails in the world has cut them. Houston's Ayanna Williams cut her nails over the weekend. Before they were cut, they measured 24 feet!!!! It took her 3-4 bottles of polish for her manicure over the course of days! She's cut them to 6 inches now.
The dermatology office that cut the nails had to use an electric rotary tool to saw them off! Her goal now is to encourage the next person who wants to be in the Guiness Book of World Records for longest fingernails. Before getting her nails cut, she was unable to do things like wash the dishes and put sheets on the bed.
