The Des Moines Register is reporting that Von Maur is vacating their store at Valley West Mall next Fall. But, fear not, Von Maur will be opening a new store at Jordan Creek Towne Center. Von Maur will take the space once occupied by Younker's at Jordan Creek.
The new Von Maur at Jordan Creek will renovate the space that once housed Younker's to make it look more like Von Maur. Employees who work at Von Maur at Valley West will have their positions moved to the new store next year.
A re-development plan is in the works to change Valley West Mall from a retail location to an entertainment and residential destination.
