As we all were sheltering in place during Saturday's deadly tornadoes, a Hollywood actor was, also, sheltering from the severe weather. Mark Wahlberg was in town on Saturday for a screening of his movie "Father Stu." He came to Central Iowa with his film crew who were filming his documentary series "Wahl Street." The Wahlbergs have a great partnership with Hy-Vee as is evidenced with the products in the stores and the Wahlburgers restaurants inside some Hy-Vee locations.
He was screening "Father Stu" at Hy-Vee's Ron Pearson Center in West Des Moines and was forced into the basement as severe weather approached. He told the Des Moines Register of the basement, "like any Hy-Vee you visit, the basement is immaculate."
