Shag's on Court Avenue is losing its liquor license for two weeks. The suspension follows an event featuring an alleged lewd (or X-rated) event. Video of the promoter produced event went viral on social media and that tipped off authorities that some unsavory behavior was happening in the popular club.
The Des Moines City Council unanimously voted for the suspension. There is no word on when the suspension will occur.
