I find it kind of amusing that this region of the country ranks high on two top ten lists: Binge drinking and best region to raise a family! Iowa is number nine on the list of best places to raise a family. Other states in the region that ranked high on the list include Nebraska (at #8) and Minnesota (#2).
The Wallet Hub survey ranked states based on factors like affordability, family fun, and health & safety. In case you were wondering, according to the survey, Massachusettes is the best state in America to raise a family. Mississippi is last on the list.
