According to the Guiness Book Of World Record, the world's oldest dog is living right now. The dog is a breed of lifestock guardian dog and lives in Portugal. Ready for this? The dog is 30 years and 286 days old! This breed of dog, Rafeiro Do Alentejo, only lives to be 12 to 14 years old.

According to Guiness, the oldest dog previously was an Australian Cattle dog that lived to be 29 and was born in 1910.
