Massive Recall Hits Several Grocery Chains

A massive food recall has affected several retailers such as Trader Joe's, Walmart and Whole Foods.  The recall is behind a concern that some of the prepared food could be contaminated with Listeria or Salmonella.  The foods affected are vegetables in prepared salads packaged by the above retailers and, also, 7-Eleven and Kroger.  The vegetables, like corn and onions, were produced by McCall Foods who distribute the vegetables to be used in prepared salads and frozen foods at the retailers.

Foods affected include: Whole Foods' santa fe style salad with chicken, Trader Joe's labeled BBQ flavored chicken salad and Walmart's marketside fiesta salad with steak.
