Katy Perry just broke a huge chart record!

With the release of her first single “Daisies” from her upcoming sixth studio album, Perry joins the likes of Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Pink and Kelly Clarkson as the fifth artist in history to achieve 16 career top 10 hits on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs airplay chart this week (July 4). “Daisies” ties Perry with Clarkson, with 16 top 10s respectively, Pink with 17, Swift with 22, and Maroon 5 with 25.

When the news broke, Pink and Clarkson were some of the first to congratulate the pregnant superstar with sweet, empowering messages on social media. “Congratulations Katy!!!!! Woot woot that’s a lot of ladies xoxo,” the “Just Give Me A Reason” recording artist tweeted, to which the 35-year-old responded, “The Moore the merrier ♥️🤗”

The “Broken & Beautiful” powerhouse also praised her fellow pop star’s latest accomplishment and gushed over her glowing maternal look in the “Daisies” music video. “Get it @katyperry you look BEAUTIFUL in this video #bytheway,” Clarkson tweeted. Perry replied, “Thank you friend 😍♥️”

As fans know, Perry is expecting her first child, a daughter, with fiance Orlando Bloom this summer. In the interim, the “Dark Horse” star has been gearing fans up for the release of her tentatively untitled new album, slated to drop on August 14. As yet, “Daisies” is the only official single from the effort, but the mommy-to-be recently teased the lyrics to a new song last month — check it out here.
