They just released a survey that found every single grocery item last month was more expensive than it was a year ago. Yikes. But, this is no surprise if you've been to the grocery store lately. It's even worse if you tend to waste food that goes bad. Here are some life hacks on making sure you're buying just what you need:
-Always shop with a list and stick to it
-FIFO - First In, First Out: This means when you unload your new groceries, but the NEW STUFF behind the old stuff, so you make sure you get every bit of use out of your food without it spoiling and having to be thrown away.
-Buy frozen vegetables: They are cheaper and healthier for you
-Stop buying the same stuff you keep throwing away!
Good luck!
