It's all about the re-frame. A lot of us are people pleasing apologizers. Have you ever found yourself apologizing and then went, "Why did I do that? Why did I just apologize for something I shouldn't have?" I found this great life hack I want to share on that subject. Experts suggest re-framing your apologies with thanks. Instead of apologizing with "i'm sorry" when you are late for something, say, instead "I really appreciate your patience."
Give it a try, you'll be surprised at how empowering it feels to express gratitude instead of weakly (but kindly) keep apologizing.
