Today is Earth Day. April is Earth month. Everyday we should celebrate, it's the planet at stake. Locally, there are some events to commemorate Earth Day this weekend.
Tonight at the Yard at Johnston Town Center from 6pm - 8pm, you can decorate a flower pot. Tomorrow from 10am - noon in Polk City, you can celebrate Mother Earth with a family 5k run/walk. At the Lauridsen Amphitheatre in Water Works Park there will be an Extraordinary Egg Hunt and Earth Day celebration.
