The White House Correspondants' dinner was held on Saturday night. Trevor Noah was the master of ceremonies and after making political jokes, he got serious about journalists. He sent a shout out to the "daring" Des Moines Register reporter. He was talking about Andrea Souhari who was arrested at Merle Hay Mall while covering the George Floyd protests in 2020.
She was acquitted on failure to disperse and interference with official acts charges.
