Winning $2B Powerball Ticket Was Sold At An Altadena Gas Station!

Finally someone has won the Powerball Lottery! After having about a 10 hour delay for the Powerball drawing, there is a winning ticket that has matched all 6 numbers for the $2.04 billion jackpot and it was sold right here in Los Angeles, California! The winning numbers were: white balls 10, 33, 41, 47, and 57 with a red Powerball that was 10.

"They have to realize it," said Carolyn Becker, spokesperson for the California Lottery, of the winner and that piece of paper. "It's possible they know by now, they will soon enough if they watch the news and they need to keep it safe. This is probably, second to their family, their most prized possession so the most important thing is to keep it safe. You do need your ticket to claim that prize."

The winning ticket was sold at Joe's Service Center on West Woodbury Road in Altadena and the owner said that "they don't know who purchased the ticket, but they hope it was someone from the community." Well, whoever that person is has up to 1 year to come forward to claim the prize. This jackpot is one of the largest lottery prize that has been won and no one had won it since August 3rd. Congratulation to whoever won this HUGE lottery and for more information head to ABC 7.
