This was one of the most metal meetings ever for The Hellfire Club.
Joseph Quinn, who plays Eddie Munson in Season 4 of Stranger Things, met up with Metallica backstage at Lollapalooza before they closed out the festival on Thursday, July 29th. Joseph got to chat with the guys about creating the "Master of Puppets" scene in the Netflix series and the band ended up asking him if he wanted to play the song with them. After jamming out to "Master of Puppets" with the legendary band, Metallica gifted Joseph his own guitar and the whole band signed it.
To close out their set in Chicago, Metallica played an electrifying performance of "Master of Puppets" by having Eddie Munson playing in the Upside Down right behind them on the big screens. Soon as Eddie popped up to play with the band onscreen, the crowd went nuts! Man I wish I was there because the energy seemed so crazy.
