Halle Bailey and DDG reunited over the weekend to celebrate their child's first birthday, and things got a little emotional for the new mom.
The Little Mermaid star took to Instagram and shared special moments from her son Halo's first birthday party on Sunday, December 22. In her carousel of photos, Halle included solo shots of her baby boy along with portraits of her, DDG and Halo together. You can also see the "Cocomelon"-themed set-up including slides, ball pits, and an extravagant customized cake topper. In a video she posted to her IG Story, you can see her get emotional as she sang "Happy Birthday" to her son.
"I cried so much yesterday," Halle captioned her video.
Halo may have been born at the end of last December, but the world didn't know he arrived until January 2024. The former couple decided to keep Halle's pregnancy a secret until they announced Halo's birth shortly after the holidays. The first-time parents went through the motions of raising their infant until they decided to call it quits in October.
Despite their breakup, Halle and DDG have continued to raise their child together and spoil him rotten with love and gifts from their celebrity friends. Kai Cenat recently hooked baby Halo up with some cool toys when the father-son duo dropped by to visit his livestream last month. Speaking of cool gifts, DDG also got his son an incredible toy for his birthday — a brand-new, red Ferrari F8 worth $600,000.
