Never a dull moment for the hard working Des Moines police department. This morning, they got called to the Beaverdale neighborhood to look into a naked man on a roof in Beaverdale. Witnesses say he jumped off the roof and stole an SUV. While police were looking for him, they got another report of a man barking like a dog at residents at an apartment complex. After assaulting an officer and leading police on a foot chase, he was arrested. He told police he had been using illegal narcotics.
