The City of Chicago has filed a lawsuit against Jussie Smollett for refusing to pay the city back for what they say was a staged racist and homophobic attack. The City of Chicago demanded he pay them $130,000. Smollett denies staging the January 29th attack and prosecutors, recently, dropped charges against him.
The Superintendent of police and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel publicly spoke out against the judgement to drop charges against him.
