Hide your children. Hide your pets. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has confirmed that there has been a mountain lion sighting within Des Moines city limits. Video from an area near 31st Street and I-235 that was investigated has determined that what was caught on camera was indeed a mountain lion. Des Moines Police are asking people in the area to be careful, especially with children and family pets. According to KCCI, neighbors in the area say the cat was seen on video on Lola Venue.
