The downtown Des Moines library is closed until further notification. According to news reports, a 36 year old man lit himself on fire. The man was rushed to the hospital and the library has been closed until further notice. People inside the library at the time of the incident were evacuated. You should avoid the area around the library as Locust is closed between 10th and 12th while investigators look into the incident.
