Kim Kardashian's Waist Trainer Could Be Dangerous To Your Health

Kim Kardashian wildly successful bodywear line SKIMS is selling out quickly. On Monday, Kim debuted her waist trainer for $68. If you're not familiar, a waist trainer compacts your midsection like a corset. It makes your breasts and hips seem larger and your waist seem smaller, it gives you that desired (to some) hourglass figure that is Kardashian famous. Here is Kim explaining her product.

The product claims to instantly erase inches. However, if you think about it, that would be impossible. A doctor told the New York Daily News' Page Six that "waist trainers compress everything in the abdomen, not only muscles and skin, but intestines, liver, spleen, and kidneys, things we need to survive." The doctor warned that wearing a waist trainer could cause heartburn, indigestion, cracked ribs or pinched nerves.

Please be careful. What's wrong with a good old fashioned sit up to tone up?? In the end, I think we all know, there is not such thing as a quick fix, unless you have Kardashian size money and can afford plastic surgery.
