California Is The First State To Ban Fur

The state of California is the first to ban fur. On Friday, Governor Newsom signed into law bills that make the sale or donation of fur illegal in the state of California. The law doesn't include fur that is used by Native Americans and fur obtained with a legally purchased hunting license. Many big fashion houses have already banned the use of fur in their fashions. Victoria Beckham has always maintained a no fur policy and has gone further by recently banning crocodile and snake skin in her designs, too.

San Francisco and Los Angeles have already banned fur. What do you think about this new law?
