If You Knit, You Can Help Animals Impacted By Australian Wildfires

An animal rescue group in North Carolina has started a magnificent fundraiser for surviving animals of Australia's horrific wildfires. It's estimated that 1.5 billion animals have lost their lives in the devastating fires. The surviving animals need help! Carolina Waterfowl Rescue is asking for those that knit to donate knit nests, sweaters and pouches that the animals can use while in recovery from injuries sustained in the fires.

If you can't knit, the group is seeking donors to sponsor boxes that are being sent to Australia. You can sponsor a full or partial box.
