A California chain restaurant is taking patrons' temperatures before allowing them in the restaurant to dine. The temperatures are being taken by infrared thermometer without touching anyone's skin. If a patron has a fever, they are sent home. Guests are, also, given hand sanitizer upon entrance. The restaurant is Szechuan Impression with locations in Los Angeles and Orange counties. This new system has been in place since the end of January. Guests don't seem to mind the extra precautions. Today, it might actually be a bit comforting knowing that no one serving you food (the workers get their temperature taken before clocking in) and dining around you will cause you to become ill.
