It seems now that postponements and cancellations are creeping into the Summer festival season. The Des Moines Music Coalition announced today that this year's 80/35 Music Festival that was to be held in Western Gateway Park has been cancelled. According to the Des Moines Register, they received a press release that reads, "It's with a sad song in our hearts to inform you that we have decided to cancel the 13th annual 80/35 festival." They vow to come back in 2021 and in the meantime will be working on way to support local artists and venues. The music is quieting but not stopping!!!
