There was a moment in time when you couldn't get the song "Stacy's Mom" out of your head. Sadly, the lead singer of Fountains of Wayne died yesterday after a battle with COVID-19. Adam Schlesinger was 52 years old. He was very good friends with comedian Sarah Silverman who wrote a heartfelt Instagram post about losing her friend. She was in New York City at the time specifically to work with Adam Schlesinger on a musical they had been working on for the past seven years. They were finally going to make it happen! So sad.
