Egg Recipe Puts A New Twist On The Typical Veggie Platter

While in isolation, many of us are doing more cooking and baking. I've teamed up with the Iowa Egg Council this month to celebrate eggs! Eggs are amazing because each egg contains 13 vitamins & minerals, zero grams of fat and sugar, but 6 grams of protein!!! We all know that soon we will be able to responsibly get together with friends and family that we've missed so much. As the weather is getting nicer, i'm sure you're considering an outdoor get together. Veggie Egg Dippers are the perfect twist on the deli platter or veggie tray!!! Check this recipe out!!!

You need:

6 eggs

carrots and celery - cut lengthwise

Your favorite dip like hummus, guacamole, ranch (yes, ranch!!)

To prepare, all you have to do is hard boil the six eggs. I prefer to use my Instant pot. It takes about 10-15 minutes and they're perfectly hard boiled. You just combine one cup of water with six eggs carefully placed on the Instant Pot trivet and manually set the timer for 7 minutes. When the eggs are done, do the quick release. The eggs will be hot, so you can put them in ice water to cool or just wait it out.

When the eggs are cool, peel the shells off. Place the eggs on the celery sticks and/or carrot sticks. Serve your dippers with the rest of the veggies in your deli tray!!
