Ways To Fix Sleep Issues During Pandemic


I have good news and bad news. The good news is there are things you can do if you're having trouble sleeping during the pandemic. The bad news is, one of the ways to help you out would be to stop wearing your pjs all the time!

The first thing you can do to help your sleep out is to start eating foods that are melatonin-rich like banans, tomatoes and oats. These foods will induce sleep.

But when you're eating those foods, make sure you eat them hours before bed. You've heard this before, don't eat before sleep because your body will be working hard to digest and that will not make you sleepy!

Take a hot shower or warm bath about an hour before bed. The body warming up and then cooling down will lull you into sleep.

Sleep naked. It lowers your body temperature making it easier to fall asleep.

Don't wear your pjs all day. Your body psychologically knows it's time to sleep when you slip your pjs on. If you wear them all day, you're going to mess up your system!
