Target on Merle Hay Road has closed for the day today. A spokeswoman for Target told We Are Iowa news that the store closed at 5pm today for the safety of shoppers and employees. Target has closed its stores in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area over safety concerns in the wake of the death of George Floyd. Target is headquartered in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
