KCCI is reporting that Jordan Creek Town Center will close at 5pm. This is a recommendation from the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.
Valley West Mall will, also, close at 5pm. Normally, Valley West Mall closes at 7pm.
Last night, protesters showed up in force at Merle Hay Mall. Many stayed past 9pm protesting despite the Polk County mandatory stay-at-home curfew that went in to effect at 9pm. The same mandatory stay-at-home curfew is in effect for this evening beginning at 9pm.
Community leaders and Governor Reynolds will hold a community forum at the State Capitol tonight at 6:30pm. This is not a protest, but a community event.
KCCI reports that Governor Reynolds has the National Guard on stand by, if needed.
