Jen Glantz made headlines after she realized most of her money was spent on bridesmaid dresses for all of her friend's weddings. Meanwhile, she was single and figuring out life as a career woman. One day, she decided to put all those bridesmaid dresses to good use. She put an ad out on Craiglist as a "Bridesmaid for Hire." She ended up going viral and writing a book about her experiences.
When she finally found "the one," she decided to do a social experiment. She created a website, FinallytheBride.com, where she is letting strangers control every aspect of her wedding! Every month, she's been putting up poll questions with things like "where should we get married" "Should we do a destination wedding," to questions now like, "should we postpone our wedding," "should we do a virtual wedding," and "should we do a virtual bachelorette party?"
It's very interesting. As a writer, she's documenting everything based on the results of her polls. Every month on the 15th, she releases more of this interactive book she's writing based on this wedding experiment.
I like this. It's not for everyone, but it's fun to be able to share this and give input! Check it out for yourself at FinallyTheBride.com.
