The world received the news we knew we would receive, but did not want. A body was found in Lake Piru in Ventura County, California today. Lake Piru is where actress Naya Rivera went missing last Wednesday. Soon, authorities were able to confirm that the body found was that of Naya Rivera. She was 33.
Naya Rivera is the third Glee cast member to die. Mark Salling committed suicide in 2018 at the age of 35. On July 13, 2013, Cory Monteith died of a heroine overdose in his native Canada. At the time of his death, he was dating co-star Lea Michelle. July 13th. Today is July 13th, the date that Naya Rivera was found dead.
In tribute to Monteith, Naya Rivera sang "If I Die Young." It's chilling.
