A lot has been up in the air this year especially concerning collegiate sports. Iowa State University IS playing football this year, but whether or not fans would be allowed in the stadium remained to be seen until now. The home opener on September 12th will be a trial to see if fans will be allowed at other games. 25,000 fans will be allowed in Jack Trice Stadium on September 12th. If proper mitigation and social distancing is followed, season ticket holders will be able to attend the October 3rd game against Oklahoma. If proper mitigation is not followed on September 12th, no fans will be allowed in future games this season.
