There is a new survey that finds the song you choose as your first dance song at your wedding could determine whether or not your marriage will last!! For example, the survey found that couples that danced to Elton John's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" are most likely to describe their marriage as happy. Other happy couples chose songs like "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight," "At Last" by Etta James and "A Whole New World."
Now, songs that produced unhappy couples include "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran and Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars."
I'm no expert, but it would seem to me couples that chose more contemporary songs could be headed toward heartbreak while couples that chose classics by classic artists seem to know the secret to a successful marriage. Always bet on Elton John and take it with a grain of salt!
