Full disclosure, Mariah Carey is my favorite artist of all time. If you're a fan of MC, this is our time!!! Her book, The Meaning of Mariah, comes out tomorrow. Plus, Friday, she drops Rarities, which are some unreleased songs and other studio goodies from her 30 year career!!! This is exciting stuff! From what i've heard so far, the book is going to be very revealing and GOOD!! Mariah doesn't sugarcoat things, so I think we're going to get some goodies!
One thing that has been revealed is that while she was creating her Daydream album, the one with "Fantasy" on it, she, also, made an alternative rock album! What?! Yeah. Daydream was created in 1995, that's when grunge music was peaking - think Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden.
Mariah tweeted out a snippet of the Alternative album. She said her friend Clarissa shared vocals with her and she's on a quest to find the original album where she sings lead on the rock album.
