Monday Motivation Minute: Cater Your Workout To Your Specific Needs


It's a new year, we're all trying to do better than we did in the past. Have you thought about what specifically you are trying to do better. Health experts recommend catering your goal to workout more to your specific needs.

Looking to be less stressed and sleep better? Yoga is your workout

Looking for more endurance? Start walking for 30 minutes five times per week. Once you make that goal, start walking faster and going longer distances to increase your endurance.

Want to tone up? A strength training workout may be your thing.

Want a stronger core? Try Pilates out!

Looking to lose weight? Try a little bit of all of the above workouts!

Most importantly, figure out what you LIKE to do so that you stick to it. If you just don't like working out, try something new everyday so you can't use boredom as an excuse to not work out.
