On February 12th, two of Hope's dog escaped from her brothers backyard in Sioux City, Iowa. Think about February 12th. Remember how cold it was around Valentine's Day? This was the start of sub zero temperatures in Iowa. One of the missing dogs, Ivy, a Black Lab/Pit Mix was found 23 days later in Omaha!!! How Ivy ended up in Omaha is a mystery, but she had lost 12 to 15 pounds and was nursing a severe wound, the result of her tag embediding into her arm pit. She's on the mend and is being closely monitored by a veternarian. Ivy has been reunited with her owner, Hope. Miraculous.
