What a cool story! Last year, as wildfires were raging in Oregon. A 5 year old boy named Carver and his family wanted to do something kind for the firefighters fighting the wildfires. When they were purchasing items to donate to the crews, Carver saw a Baby Yoda. He figured they needed one at the firehouse. He attached a note that said "Thank you, Firefighters. Here is a friend if you get lonely." A Baby Yoda fights fires Facebook page began and Baby Yoda hit the road!
Now, Baby Yoda is traveling the country and hitting different fire stations. Over the weekend, Baby Yoda visited fire stations in Clive, Waukee and Ankeny!
He even stopped at the Iowa Department of Public Safety's Peace Officer Memorial.
