The Iowa State Fair really will be back better than ever. In last year's downtime, they put together the new Elwell Family Park on the Northwest side of the fairgrounds. The area will, in the future, have room for 6,000 spectators to check out monster truck demonstrations, Truck & Tractor pulls and demolition derbys.
The first dates for the events at the Elwell Family Park have been announced. On August 14 will be Monster Truck Thunder. On August 17th and 18th, you'll be able to check out the Outlaw Truck & Tractor Pull. On August 21st, check out the Domination Motorsports Demolition Derby.
Tickets for all of those events go on sale at 10am at IowaStateFair.org.
