The world of entertainment has been very, very good to David Geffen. He founded Geffen Records. He Co-founded Dreamworks Entertainment with Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg. He even produced CATS on Broadway. He's made a lot of money in entertainment and now he's giving back. He has given Yale University's Theatre School $150 million dollars! He wants to make sure that current and future students can attend the prestigious school tuition-free. Imagine all the future thespians and entertainers that will benefit all of us from this incredible donation. Think about all of the gifted people that never realize their potential because of the cost of a good education. Amazing.
The school will now be known as the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University.
