This year's list of the most innovative cities has been released. Des Moines ranks at 58 on the list, not bad considering this list ranks cities all over the world. The list takes into account 162 different factors including culture, how networked a city is and human infrastructure. The most innovative city in the world is Tokyo. For the first time, over half of the cities on the list are from the United States of America.
We appear to be in a good region as Minneapolis (37), Omaha (86) and Kansas City (47) ranked in the top 100, as well.
