Florida Georgia Line have cancelled their "I Love My Country" tour, including their October 14th stop at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The band say the rising cases of COVID-19 are behind the decision to cancel the tour. If you purchased tickets to the show, you will be receiving a refund withint 3-4 weeks.
Other artists like Garth Brooks have made the decision to cancel tours because of the Delta Variant of COVID-19 continuing to spread.
The rock band, Spoon, has cancelled their show in September at Hoyt Sherman because of Iowa's mandate against requiring proof of vaccinations at venues. Instead, Spoon has booked a show down the road in Omaha for the date they were supposed to have been at Hoyt Sherman.
