I've got a pair of shoes I love so much. Please don't judge, they're Sketchers. I bought them by accident. I was going to Trader Joe's in West Des Moines and my flip flop broke. I went to Sketcher's and purchased some black slip ons. They have memory foam, they're black, they go with everything. I wore them almost every day this Summer. I wore them all the days of the fair, I wore them on my walking Memorial Day weekend in Washington D. C. I wore them to the beach. I wore them in the rain. Bottom line, these shoes stink!!!!
How do we salvage our stinky shoes?
Grab those herbal tea bags you aren't using for that relaxing cup of tea at the end of the day. I mean, c'mon, you thought that was going to be your ritual, but it isn't. Grab 2-3 herbal tea bags and put them in your stinky shoes. The tea bag will draw the bacterial moisture out of the shoe and leave behind a wonderful herbal scent.
If only I had known about this trick when I bought all my shoes at Payless....
