The Impossible brand of plant-based meat substitutes isn't going away anytime soon. Burger King has a hit on its hands with the Impossible Whopper. They're planning on increasing their Impossible meat substitute products soon. Next up are Impossible nuggets, a chicken nugget substitute. The nuggets are being tested out in only three markets starting Monday. They'll be tested in Boston, Miami and right here in Des Moines! If you like them, you'll be able to help get them on the menu across the country!
Plant based meat substitutes are more expensive than their meat counterparts. For example, the Impossible Whopper is 70% more expensive than a regular Whopper.
These Impossible Nuggets will, also, be available in the frozen food section of your grocery store. A package of 20 will run you $7.99.
At Burger King, the Impossible Nuggets will be sold in packs of 8 nuggets. Bon Appetit!
