Lush Cosmetics Is Signing Off Of Social Media

Now, this is how you take a stand! Lush Cosmetics, you can find them locally at Jordan Creek, has decided to sign off on social media after Thanksgiving. Yes, a major retailer is deleting their social media on the biggest shopping day of the year, Black Friday!

Jack Constantine is the Chief Digital Officer for Lush and an inventor of their bath bombs. He says that for a product he designed to help people relax, he's concerned at how social media does the opposite. The company is known for their social consciousness and are concerned about how algorithms are designed to get people to keep scrolling, which is far from relaxing and good for our mental and physical health.

Lush will continue to operate their You Tube and Twitter accounts. As of Friday, Lush will be off of Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Snapchat.
