Movie About Iowa Native Kurt Warner Is Playing This Weekend In Des Moines

"American Underdog" about Cedar Rapids native and NFL hero Kurt Warner comes out on Christmas. You can catch "American Underdog" this weekend as a number of Des Moines movie theatres are already screening the movie.

"American Underdog" tells the story of Kurt Warner as he went from stocking shelves at Hy-Vee to playing on the Iowa Barnstormers to his NFL career.

"American Underdog" is playing tonight (Friday, December 17th) and tomorrow (December 18th) at theatres at Jordan Creek, in Ankeny, Altoona, in Waukee and in other cities around Iowa.

Zachary Levi portrays Kurt Warner and Anna Paquin plays his wife, Brenda Warner.
