It looks like the rain is going to pass through today and we'll have dry weather for fireworks tonight! Yankee Doodle Pops is back after two years of COVID hiatus. The Des Moines Symphony will play tonight (Friday) at 8:30pm to fireworks overhead from the West Terrace of the Capitol lawn.
Additonally, if you're downtown tonight, the Iowa Cubs are home and will have fireworks after their game tonight!
Have you been to Riverview Park in Des Moines? Enjoy a performance by Standing Hampton followed by fireworks tonight!
On July 2nd, if you are at the Iowa State Fairgrounds for the Goodguys Car Show, there will be live music and fireworks in the evening. The Iowa Cubs will, also, be hosting fireworks after the game on Saturday night.
Sunday, July 3rd, fireworks will, once again, follow the Iowa Cubs game. Prairie Meadows will, also, have fireworks Sunday evening.
